The Cibus show is back beginning May 9th until the 12th. The International Show that represents the most important national and international event dedicated to Italian food. Pastificio Fabianelli, focusing on its three lines of pasta Made in Italy – Fabianelli, Maltagliati and Pasta Toscana – will be present at the show in Parma among the excellence of the food industry to meet buyers coming from every continent.
Now at its 18th edition Cibus is the key event for Italian agri-food, an international showcase with conferences and round tables on topical issues in the field of food and retail. In the 2014 edition 12,000 of the 67,000 qualified visitors were from abroad of which 1000 were top buyers from 50 different countries. This year too the 3000 exhibitors allocated in an area of 130,000 square meters are expecting record numbers.
The innovation of the 2016 edition is the area dedicated to vegetarian and vegan products (indicated with the common label “Veg”) , organic products and low fat products, low sodium content, gluten free and so forth. According to recent data from Eurispes (a private research institute), 8% of the Italian population is vegetarian or vegan and the food sector is changing to meet the growing need for products that do not contain meat or fish. In the special areas, there will be a new space for Halal and Kosher certified products made in Italy.

The appointment is at HALL 6 – Booth E 045, in a completely renewed exhibition area where our visitors will discover the genuine and authentic world of Pastificio Fabianelli and taste our products in an informal and welcoming atmosphere typical of the Tuscany style. At the center of the stand, Whole Wheat Pasta Toscana with Omega 3, the line of pasta with high fiber content and essential fatty acid for preventive action against cardiovascular and metabolic disease. Each visitor will receive a free 250g sample so they will have the opportunity to taste the wholesome and authentic taste at home also.
